Ontario Trillium Foundation grant enables the expansion and integration of the club’s Reading Clinic at its sprawling west-end facility
The Reading Clinic works with kids who are struggling with dyslexia and other reading challenges. Their services support the improvement of reading, self confidence and self worth.
“The BGC grant has enabled the development of new structured literacy programs and enhanced its Reading Clinic’s model, delivering more than 5,700 annual sessions. To boost impact, the project identified the benefit of moving The Reading Clinic to the west end community centre, allowing for integrated services with the facility’s diverse program opportunities, including aquatics, sports leagues, and the new Robotics Lab.”
